CLAM on the Move
CLAM makes an ideal desktop for mobile and remote workers using portables or PDAs.  The combination of a clear, role-specific user interface and a lock-down to prevent accidental configuration changes cuts support overheads for mobile devices by up to two-thirds.
CLAM for Citrix Access
If you want to connect a user to a Citrix ICA® session, CLAM can be set up to provide this, and just prompt for a user name and password. As with any CLAM session, the central administrator can define the graphics and titles to ensure a professional appearance.

CLAM on the LAN
If the PC is already on the LAN, you can simply prompt the user for their network user ID and password on boot-up.  If you are also authenticating to a Citrix Presentation Server farm. CLAM can use Web Interface to display the users' applications within the customised shell, together with any locally installed applications you allow.

CLAM Kiosk
CLAM can be set up to allow unrestricted access, without the need for a password or user ID. As CLAM provides a secure, locked down environment, the kiosk mode is ideal for reception and public access uses, providing a safe way of delivering applications and information within your customised desktop shell. Kiosk use can connect via VPN, LAN, WAN, DSL or dial-up connection.

CLAM in Isolation
CLAM can be installed on a standalone PC to provide managed access to locally installed applications via the intuitive CLAM user interface. CLAM allows the organisation to easily define and update the desktop customisation, the applications which can be used and the level of security lock down which is required. Configuration updates that are normally downloaded automatically can be issued and installed by CD or DVD.

CLAM for Flexibility
Of course different users have different needs, so all these different uses can be stored as profiles on any CLAM PC, and used whenever they are needed. Each can look the same, or completely different, and can have their own password if required. You can even have multiple versions of each profile, to allow the user a choice of desktop themes which the organisation has created. The degree of choice and customisation is defined and controlled by the CLAM Manager.
